I just realized how stupid I am, how and where do I put the jack to get under motor?

I bought jackstands, and a 2 1/2 ton jack, I need to get under there but don't know how! I was going to put it under front axle like in myold 4x4, but uh....it isn't there? I was then going to put it under radiator but I thought and was like "better ask the TGO'

i read crossmember, but I don't know what that is. I guess i'm stupid as a board

I know alot about cars, just not hands on

put it on the "saddle thing" under the engine, the part that has each conrol arm attached to it, and spindle wheel assembly. after you have it raised put your jack stands under the control arms. after you let the car doen on the stands take a look and make sure they're still sitting on the floor and not starting to tip. doesn't hurt to give the car a shake or two to see if you can knock it off the stand. i'm a big chicken **** and like to slide the jack under the car somewhere out of my way but still might hold up the car if a jack stand failed.

hmmmm mines looks just like that, minues the red(well they used to be red) bushings, and all the chrome, and gold oil pan. Hmmmm makes me think, did you spend as much as i did for my entire car($1500) on just the underside?

Hmm i'd rather take a literacy course first.
Mike, sometimes you make it too easy.

The first thing you should do is get some damn books and learn what the hell you should do to your car.

Also, lessen the amount of 'projects' so that you can maximize your potential gains elsewhere.
