New car, some problems..

i just picked up a 91' RS with 64,000 original miles on it. it had some small leaks, which were repaired. i switched her over to synthetic 5w30 and i got some really loud ticking from the motor; so i went back to 10w30 dino and started it up, the noise was there for a minute and then went away. but now it's back and driving me nuts! also, does anyone have any idea where the fuel pump relay on my car is? i need to replace it as the pump is not priming anymore. anyones input is great appreciated!

Better yet... get a mechanical oil pressure guage (about $5) and tell us what that reads. The stock guage is notoriously inaccurate.

That's true, and if his guage is reading low, that would shut off the fuel pump. So I'd recommend doing both but it's easier to check the guage.

The fuel relay is located on the firewall drivers side right behind the master cyclinder. There should be 2 if I am correct. The one closer to your passenger seazt is the fuel relay . You can swap the relays to test it before you by a new one. The other one is for your fan .
