Is this a good combo for high 12's?

Stock L98 bottom end w/ AFR 190 heads, Edelbrock manifold base w/ LPE Super ram plenum and runners (The Edelbrock base is over $100 cheaper than the Accel/LPE manifold and they are virtually identical), LPE 219/219 cam (specs=Dur @.050" 219/219; lift w/ 1.6 roller rockers .560"/.560"; CL 112), and 3.45 gears w/ an appropriate stall converter on a 700R4. Of course I have a full high-po exhaust and other mods to support these changes.

There was a guy ZBRA running a very similar setup to that... I think he had a problem with the Superram and/or the 219 cam.

1984 z28 w/ a 357 cu in. monster engine which is looking like the posterchild for Edelbrock with the exception of the Holley 750vac... all the suspension stuff... 9-bolt posi disk is in...

No one else has or has seen someone with this setup?

Well, there is a guy on corvetteforum with the same setup on his stock 85 shortblock and he's running high 11s.

Wow! High 11's is more than I expected. I'd be thrilled if I got anywhere near the 11's. I do plan on taking the car to CarPro in Michigan to have them dyno tune the combo after it's installed.

Corvettes hook up really well compared to our cars. Realistically, IMO mid to low 12s with our cars can be attained with good traction.
