How do I get the motor mount apart so I can replace the rubber section in the middle?? I was expecting the PST motor mounts to come in the metal, but I guess not.

you have to drill out the rivits on each side of the shell, put the new insert in and the zip tie the shell back together. Thats at least the way ES's instuctions tell you how to do it.

 

or you could always weld the shell back together. that's what was done to my motor mount shell. I figure that with the upgrade from rubber, I'm probably not going to need to replace the mount (at least for a long time). So it got welded, installed, and "forgotten"

 

i followed ES instructions to take them apart but welded mine together in a vise before i put them back in.
