fourth gen rear into third gen ???'s

I have pretty much read everything I can find on it, and everything I read says something about changing the prop. valve. If the car already has rear disc, do you still have to change it? It already has rear disc so why would it need changed? Are the ones for the fourth gens different?
Is there anything else I need to know about this swap except for the E-brake cable being a pain in the ****?

thanks for all the info in advance.

if your car has the rear disk valve i'd say you'd be ok, but it's just a guess. it'd be easy to change while you swap rear ends since you'll have to bleed the brakes anyway.
