Axle/Gears: 10bolt 3.42s
transmission bellhousing bolts

what size are transmission bellhousing bolts to the engine. i have an engine stand and need the bolts to hold it up but i dont know what size i need. its a 350 i dont know what else is needed?!

I bought a few 3/8 coarse thread bolts and they worked fine.

Most stands need 3 1/2 - 4 inch in length

i went to home depot and got some 4 1/2 inchers that barely reach into the engine lol. Mine's for a cheapo auto-zone special though... and the bolts are bending lol. I took them out to change which motor was on the stand, and they looked like spoons lol.

Anyhow, try to make sure you dont get any cheapo bolts, a Small Block can give you a good smashing on the toes, or feet, or knees, or stomache, or head, or hand, etc.... be careful when you're around the engine on the stand... if you dont respect big heavy objects being suspended in air by a couple flimsy bolts, then I'm sure it wont respect you

No they are the 7 1/2 grades
