Sweart Water Pump Problems
Where are you supposed to mount the accessory brackets to on the Stewart water pumps. I ordered a Stage 2 part #23123 and it looks like this. Anyone else have this problem?
The red dots are where the bolt holes should be.
------------------
87 IROC-Z 305 TPI gears, exhaust, converter
14.70 at 94.1 mph
Solid Roller Minirammed 377 waiting to be installed

You have the wrong pump.
I have a Stewart Stage 2 pump on my 83 L69 Z28; it has all those holes, right where they're supposed to be. Look at a 21113 on their web site, that's the one I have. It looks like you need that one except in a LH rotation model.

I agree with that...you have a reverse rotation model which doesn't need the extra accessory mounting holes.

1989 IROC-Z, ZZ3 shortblock with some bolt-ons.

V-belt thirdgens have a clockwise rotation, as every belt pretty much just goes in a circle (okay, a lumpy circle). Sine the crank goes clockwise, everything else is going clockwise too.
Serpentines however go counterclockwise because the belt is routed in all sorts of funky ways, and it ends up turning the water pump the opposite way.

pump w/ accessory bolt holes. Thanks again guys. I am getting so frustrated with all the problems with parts for this engine it's not funny any more.
