idle's like crap

i have a 92 305 tpi. i just changed number 1 & 3 cylinders, new ac delco sparkplugs. i used brand new bosch plug wires on 1,3,&5 cylinders. i replaced my cap and rotor and everything is in the right place. i moved the rotor a little bit but moved it back to exlactly where it was. i check the plugs for cracks and replaced #3 cylinder. it idles like crap. it feels like its erunning on 7 cylinders. i ran out of time to do the rest but i am gonna take it to a repair shop. i would just like to know asap what could be the problem. thank you fo any input.

What were you doing with that lose in the first place if you don't have a timing light? Was it left lose and you moved it just doing plug wires?

Exact same problem here. Changed all plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Will change coil when I get time to mess w/ bolt brackets. Was fine for a day, and then started to idle rough again. Seems like a plug isnt fireing, or its missing. Real annoying at stop lights

You need to start your own thread cause this one is about something else. Need to bench test your coil and go from there. You can test the pick up coil but usally it's the eletronic module that goes first. No home test for that. Sorry.

check any vaccum lines by spraying starting fluid on them...if your idle goes up you have a
leak...also checking your sensors may be a good idea
