i just finished intalling march part # 4010. but i had problem with my alternator. when put on the alternator pulley i had only a few threads to work with and i stripped out the aternator bolt anyone else had any problems with this install?

 

I've not done it but it must be the wrong alt. pulley or there should have been enough threads. Is there enough undamaged threads to put the stock pulley back on?

 

ya i have some threads left, ill get ahold of march

 

comparing the two my original pulley in holowed out a alot more than the march. march is bout an inch thick and original is a 1/4 inch

 

would it b a good idea if i didint use a lock washer and just used locktight?
