262, 265, 267, 283, 302, 305, 327, 350, 400, and all the various hybrids all use the same cams, subject to the late-model factory roller exception which doesn't apply to the 327.
What cam is in it now? Why don't you like it? That is, what does it do / not do that you're unhappy with? What's the rest of the motor? Most of all, what heads are on it? Preferably by casting number, not just "350 heads" or the like, which could be any of about 60 or 70 variations. What carb or FI? Gears? Auto or stick? Converter if auto? There is no one magic cam that you can just stick in every motor and make every owner happy.

well I ran the block number and it is a 68 or 69 327 coming from the small block chevy interchange manual. I am pretty sure it is stock it has a stock q-jet on it. i haven't checked the heads out yet. I don't want to take it apart until i am ready to do the work. I am really happy with the engine so far as it won't keep the tires on the ground for long but the thing lugs in almost any gear at around 1500 rpm it just doesn't seem to have the low end torque. I guess it could be because it is a 327. It is a stick with the stock gearing. it is an 85 t/a and all stock but engine so far. I am in the midst of a 383 for it but losing money for gas having to keep it above 1500 rpm.
