Dart Iron Eagle 180 heads
Does anyone know what the Dart Iron Eagle 180 heads with 2.02 and 1.6 valves flow? Do they at least flow better than vortecs?I can pick up a set for $700 and I am wondering if they are worth it. I am looking to put it in a 350 with an XE268 cam, RPM air gap intake, and a 650 dp carb.

here is the flow of the dart heads if i was you i would use the vortec's they flow about 30 more cfm at .500 but the dart heads have a bout 15 more cfm exh but i would still go with the vortecs it would be alot cheaper.

Wow those numbers suck for the price. My 416's flow 210@.500 on the intake. And I paid $400 total for them. Holy crap. Well can anyone suggest a good set of heads for under $1000 that flow around 230@.500 other than vortecs, because if I get the vortecs I have to get all the special stuff for them and I dont want to, I already have the intake and rockers I want on my motor now. And the total kit is like $950. Thanks for the info guys.

In another post I saw that they flow 240@.500 and the 58cc chambers will give me about 10:1 compression.

They make custom gaskets, believe they go as low as .027. Not sure on what size piston your running. But yea, its probably not worth the trouble unless you buy some new pistons. You can get a set of sealed power forged pistons for $267. With 58cc heads should put you right at 10.4:1

29.95 * 8 = 239.6 + 10 shipping = 249.6 shipped
Im personally running these for 11.54:1 compression:

And these are quality pistons. Their entry level forged but still damn strong.
Make sure you get the proper bore size.
