Anyone try converting a flat-tappet block to roller?

I know there are kits available, and it was something I've been toying with.. Just curious to see if anyone has tried this and can offer pros/cons. Also, what did it cost, and is any machining of the block necessary?

No machine work whatsoever is required.

What would this place be like if people even read the most recent 3 posts before making a new one on the same topic?

maybe the server should prompt them to search for this topic before submitting the new thread?

EDE-RB,
Hey take it easy. Not everyone one of use have over 5000 posts, and visit this page every 3 hrs. We sometimes miss some of these "repeated" posts, and for us, it must be asked again. I agree, if people would check the tech articles, that would greatly help, but sometimes doing a "archive search" doesn't always come up with the info you want.

Sorry guys, if I didn't do my homework before asking! That first thread told me everything I need to know, and then some.
