L69 snorkel on single snorkel air cleaner

If I can get a snorkel from an L69 will it fit on my single snorkel air cleaner ????(take off the old one and put L69 one in its place)

Yes it will.. I did that with mine.. just pulled off the "stock" one, and put on the new one.. Though keep the spacer that goes between the air cleaner and the TBI. also you'll probably need to use your lid from the stock cleaner.. since the bolt threads don't go high enough, so the wing nut doesn't work.. But there is no height problems using your lid.. and you use the same air filter too..

Why not just get the whole L69 setup and drop it onto your TBI? fits right on, bolts up... there was even a whole one on sale in the classifieds not too long ago...

yes I would like that but moneys kinda tight right now spending 200 something on an air cleaner really isn't a good idea at this time I was just thinking that if I get a snorkel from the L69 it would improve the air flow for less money

Nope, the snorkles are different. oval shaped and much bigger..
