Normal distributor gear wear??????
What does normal distributor gear wear look like? The gear teeth on my GTA are getting a little thin. When is it time for replacement? and does anyone have a GM part #?

If it's shiny and thinner in the middle I would change it. Go to a competent auto parts store and ask them to look it up. Most parts stores won't have it. It's a Borg Warner part but I don't remember the # off hand.
