Fusible link most likely. There are 2 of them, where the whole car hooks up to the battery, at the starter terminal where the battery cable goes.

My 6 cyl did this and it turned out to be the connections to the battery. Unscrew the connections and clean them (if necessary replace the bolts, they're cheap at a parts place) and then try. This fixed my problem (pretty cheap compared to the new battery I went out and bought to fix it).

I got the similar prob.I started the car.As I was turning the key,I heard a click that came from the engine.I attempted to start the car and all the power went dead.No power at all.I was about to shiit in my pants.I was not at home where I could test the prob.
I opened the hood.I rechecked the battery terminal connections, the starter connections, the engine block wire, alternator connections, and fuses.I turned the key and the power was up again.the engine started and was really happy. I was really about to sheet in my pants, but I was really happy that I didn't.
