Car wants to stall in drive.

So I put a carbed 383 in my car. Now when I have it in park and running it runs like a champ but when I put it in drive or reverse it can't hold idle and stalls.

It drives fine otherwise.

What do you think?

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem with a TBI RS. Let me know if you find an answer.

Thanks,

Alex

Have you checked the basics? Idle speed, ignition timing, fuel pressure.... Check your spark too, see how strong it is. White = good. Blue = average. Orange, red, yellow, etc = Poor.
