Hard Starting Fixed!!!

Finally its fixed! You all know the routine-starts fine in the morning but has a hard time any other time throughout the day.
I had suspected the fuel injectors and actually sent them out to be cleaned and was told they were good but the problem still persisted.
I was still losing pressure when the car was shut off. It turned out the #1 injector would leak for 15 min. after it was shut off.
I replaced them all with 23# Accel injectors and it fires right up anytime of the day now.
Just thought I'd spread some good news here instead of my usual "why's my car doing this".

Bob

Thanks for sharing and glad you got your car working right again! You are right... not enough replies about what fixes the problems after something works

Thanks, I just think that more people with this problem should just replace their injectors with new ones. GM obviosly had a big problem with these since I have read far too many posts about the same problem.

how did you find out the #1 injector was leaking? How much were the new injectors? I have a 305, but did you retain the stock 21lb. pressure for your TPI?
I have this same problem.
Thanks

To figure out what was leaking I left the the fuel fail connected but unbolted it and lifted it up. Then when the fuel line is pressurized (turning the key on but not starting it) I could see fuel dripping out of the injector.
I went with Accel 23# which I bought thru www.cruzinperformance.com
So far I have left the fuel pressure the same (44psi). I know that the new injectors will flow more but I could probably use it with the intake and exhaust mods.
Hope this helps!

Oh yeah the injectors were $229 for the new ones.
