Heres my case, my intake on my 1984 v8 305 firebird, has cracked due to corrosion, anyway i live in CA and there up in the *** about aftermarket parts(smog), is there an aftermarket part that you recommend I can put in my car w/o any fuss come smog time, or a place were i can pick order one? also is there any small mods i can do, since everythings out that wont affect smog but will increase my performance? THanKS!!!!

Get a ZZ4 one off ebay or something. Those are MUCH MUCH better-flowing that your typical California-legal aftermarket one;l and should sail right through visual, because it has everything it needs for emissions, such as EGR hookup and all the right sensor holes in the right places. It's almost as if the mfr had access to the info on where all that stuff is supposed to be.

I'm absolutely positive.

I drove one around all day today. With the A/C on and blowing cold.

I can't exactly promise that at any given moment, somebody will be selling one. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe you'll have to buy a new one, such as from Pace or Scoggin-Dickey or whatever. But it's a good choice regardless.
