Oil Filter Adapter
I need to order the oil filter adapter for my new motor. I thought one would come with my oil cooler but it didn't. Do I just need to order the plate with the nipple and the two bolts??

Getting there.....383 with Super Ram, Bosch 24# SVO's, MSD, Edelbrock 58 mm TB, 700R4 tranny, Eibach springs, Koni 12 way adjustable shocks and struts, and more!! Now let's pray it runs when it's all back together!!!!

the one for my oil cooler uses the threaded fitting the oil filter screws to to hold the adapter for the cooler. for the cooler adapter you'll need an inlet and outlet in the adapter. look in a permacool catalog or web site to get an idea of what's avaiable. gm also uses oil coolers on several differant cars and trucks. i know the 4.3 uses one that bolts up using the 2 bolts and has 2 tapped holes for the cooler lines.

I already have the cooler with the sandwich adapter. I just need the plate with the threads that the filter would go onto on a normal setup as well as the hardware.
