Stupid accell runners.

I bought a set of runners used without the hardware and the stock bolts aren't long enought and regular bolts won't work. Does anyone know where I can get torx or allen head bolts in a metric thread? I've tried every hardware store in chicago and nothing this is sooooooo anoying!!

From memory they are 10mm, 'standard' metric thread. I bought a couple of regular hex head bolts in this size at home depot a while back. You'll need to find a good hardware supply to track down allen head ones though.

Try a real bolt & screw place, industrial supply type of thing

Try using the old hardware, because I have the Accel runners and I used the old hardware..

but I think you might run into problems with the long bolts at the bottom...I'll have to double check and look at my setup again.. I do recall using the stock ones for the shorter bolts.

They are 8mm and the bottom bolts are the ones that are giving me problems. They need to be like 3 1/2 inches long. I'm going to try a real industrial place if they will sell to me.

Hell, mine were too long at the top and not long enough at the bottom. YOu'll definitely have to go to a good fastener store. I had to search a little to find mine.

Try Ace hardware... I just bought some of those 8mm socket head bolts. With the allen heads for my SuperRam install. They had a bunch of different lengths.
