L98 heads

I need a set for my 350. Someone used the 305 heads on it when they did the swap.Does anyone have a set or the casting numbers, so I can find a set. Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially since the car is tore down at this moment

Consider new World Products 64cc S/R Torquer (not just S/R's) or Sportsman II's as alternatives to used factory parts. They're new castings, beefed up in areas the factory parts are weak, they'll flow better, have screw-in rocker studs instead of pressed-in, have 2.02/1.60 valves, are available in '87-later or '86-older intake style, and won't cost you much if any more than getting used parts rebuilt (especially if you get the used parts machined for larger valves and/or screw-in studs). You can get them assembled, in which case they're a bolt-on out of the box (after cleaning, of course).

Competition Products had the best prices I saw, and were very helpful and accommodating when I talked to them.

what kind of price are we talking on these heads. I need to get it running quick. right now I'm down to one car in the household so temporary and cheap were priority. I have a 383 stroker awaiting in the wings but it is not near finished. Thanks for the help so far.

About $650 assembled & shipped for the Torquers, about $170 more for the Sportsmans.

The Sportsmans would support a 383 very nicely.

And if you are wanting the aluminum vette heads the part number is:12556463 and the casting number is:10088113

I'm going for the vette heads myself as I have a 305 and need the smaller chambers.
