edl-5002 torker cam?
HAs anyone used the edl-5002 torker cam from edelbrock? It looks like it is pretty rumpy. I was wondering if anyone had experience with it and what their setup was.

The more at question is what are your goals and what is your probable set-up. You don't build an engine around a cam you happen to like –on paper-, you build an engine for a particular purpose and pick the combination you think will fill that purpose as closely as possible.

It's just yet one more packaging of the old 292°/234°/.488" cam that's been around since the 60s. Paying the extra cover charge for getting it in the Edelbrock box doesn't make it special.
It's an old design, with low lift and lazy ramps, from back in the days before so many good valve springs and heads were available. Almost any modern cam will outrun it.
Therefore, a good way to descrobe it, is that it acts weaker than modern cams, in practically any setup; and should be avoided.
