I just got my engine back together after doing a cam/head/intake TBI to carb swap, i got it up and running and have finally drove it a couple times. The first time it ran horrible, i set the timing and made a few adjustments, then it did much better but still not right. finally I set the timing to about 12 degrees advances and richened the carb a little, then when driving i heard a miss, i didnt notice it before but its hard to hear because i have a bad exhaust leak. All the plugs are new, i have check the plugs too make sure there not crossed, what else should i look for?

 

Did you remember to gap the spark plugs?

 

yea, i gapped them to .035

 

Well i checked all the plugs and they look like they have been burning just fine

 

Fix the problem yet?
