About the same as stock, maybe a little less, with the horrible mismatch cam in it.

Yeah that cam has no right to be in a tpi engine. Thats a horrible cam period. Have you run that cam in the motor yet? I bet the computer doesn't like it much.

I may be off in the cam numbers, I will have to look at the Cam sheet, seems the first number was 476 or ?? it does have a lope to it and the car is extremely fast. It is one of the fastest cars I have ever driven, Puts my Nissan 350 to shame. I just bought this car and was curious about the HP it may be putting out.

Take it to the dyno. The dyno measures HP. Anything you read here is a guess. Nothing more.

Want to know how fast it is, take it to the track. The track measures speed. See above.

Those cars did about 190 HP to the rear wheels, new; and ran mid-high 14s, 14.7 or so. It's fairly easy to mod one up to 215-220 RWHP and lower mid 14s like 14.3-14.4. With your lowered compression and inappropriate cam, I wouldn't expect yours to better those numbers.

Thanks for the replies, I just was curious. I don't understand the compression being lowered though. The guy I bought it from said it was increased to 9:1 ???

Stock it was between 9.3 and 9.4:1, depending on production tolerances.

Either the PO was lying, or he put dished (cheeeeep) pistons in it when he rebuilt it, and hoped his buyer didn't know the facts well enough to pick out his BS.

So yesterday the chocalate ration was 25 grams per week; today it was announced it's been changed to 20 grams per week. Spontaneous demonstrations broke out all over Oceania this morning, thanking Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration.

You'll have to excuse RB, he hasn't been the same since he came back from Room 101.

Yeah, the Ministry of Love does strange things to one's mind. Now, if I only had a mind....

I always go straight to the truth. I'm rather blunt at times. Sometimes the truth hurts.

No problem thats better than, "well uh", "maybe" "could be etc

I looked at the cam sheet last nite. pretty faded, but the model number from Summit is a edlbrock 5010. The Duration and lift numbers began with a 5 and after that it's a gues but I am thinking 520.
