Engine is an L98 TPI with a ZZ4 cam. Other than that it's pretty much bone stock. Was running fine and then out of nowhere started surging at idle on startup. It normally idles at around 700-750, but now it's surging between 500-1200 on startup and almost stalls. It does this for about 30-45 seconds and then smoothes out. It does it every time I start the car and always smoothes out after about 30 seconds. Any ideas? MAF? Vacuum leak? Help!

look for vacume leaks then go from there, i had a surge at idle with my 2.8 block and it was due to vacume leaks.. i might just figure out a way to change all my vacume lines to metal so i dont have to worry about it again..
