i think thats what it would be called... where you mount the engine and you can run it and test it before it goes in the car.... why are these things so expensive? all the ones ive seen they want about a grand for one... why are they so expensinve?

They usually have built in electronics, fuel cell, radiator, ignition, gauges, etc.

You can rig one up on any 4 leg engine stand for about 1/4 the cost, but its still "rigged".

and the warrents the $1000 price tag.... hmmm, you know anyone who has one and says its worth it over rigging it?

too bad i cant find a good used one for cheap

i was looking threw the summit catalog, and i saw a 4 wheeled engine stand for about $50. would this be good to build one on?

i dont want to start it and the thing tip over....
