what is the right carb and rear for this?
In a 1985 z28 with a 406 block, and 327 double hump heads i was told a 650 cfm double pumper holley would be a good carb? what do you think? (my quadrajet isnt working very well)
also changing out the 2.73 rear with a 3.42 gears either SLP gears or Richmond or JEGS gears
? ?????
ALso, can anyone tell me this, the 2.73 rear currently has a Eaton locker. If i use one of the special kits (they have in JEGS) where these lower gears will fit my 2 series carrier, will this locker still work? I believe it should since im not changing my carrier right?

personally I'd go a little larger on the carb, but that's just me.
Rear gear selection would depend alot on what cam/tranny/converter you're running and what your intended application is (street, street/strip, or strip only).

Yeah you're going to need a lot more carb than that. also like stated before gear selction should be based on cam size and what rpm you want to cross the finish line at.
