Hey, I'm new here
Not sure if this is the right forum to post this, so sorry if I posted in the wrong spot.
For about one year I was over at the Corvette Forum, no one seemed to like my infatuation with fbodies, so I was flamed a lot over there
Just today it hit me, why don't I join an fbody community? I like 4th gens, but to me, there is nothing more bad *** than an 89 GTA
I'm saving for a Formula or a GTA right now. Flipping burgers at A&W as I go
Anyways, hope this place is a lot friendlier than CF.com

This is something best reserved for a lounge. Closest thing would be this forum or the racing. Welcome aboard. Hey with your name.. 3GO? I have seen it before. Either way do you have a car or looking to get one?

TGO welcomes you! There is no other site on the net that will help you with your car like TGO will. You could dissasemble your car down to every nut and bolt and put it back together just by reading the posts on this site.
In addition, it is a tech only site. The TGO admins and staff pride themselves on keeping it this way. This is one reason why it has been so successful. It is an invaluable tool and keeping the BS off the boards justs give it even more credit as being one the the best automotive tech sites on the web.
There will never be a lounge. Lounges cause problems and attract all kinds of members who have no interest in contributing to the factual premise of this site. There used to be a lounge way back and it quickly started to compromise the credibility of the site.

What you can do is ask tech problems and make side notes along with it though.

Here are there pics of my car you asked for. These are from a few months ago. I ran a new best of 9.32 in the 1/8. The 81 TA is my friend. It has a 403 Olds motor. I always pull him outta the hole but he walks me by the end.

you should try going to Iroczone.com and check out their lounge...lots of fighting and arguing...i was a member there for 8 months and i was recently banned because i replied to a post about 9/11...no one wanted to here the truth and i was banned just for accurately correcting someone regarding the reason we were attacked on september 11th...a louge has a lot of potential for problem, and i know i would want to have a strained relationship with some of the people that have helped me out on this site...just my thoughts

Webmasters (as Dirk well knows), know that it's hard to control an open environment. I'm willing to allow a lot of things - as long as there isn't any name calling ... so there's more to the story I'm sure.

Well, Dirk has made the call, tech only, so I'll add my welcome, and say enough of the chit chat - start a new thread when you've got a 3rd gen related tech issue.
