What's wrong with the speedometer??????
the speedometer is acting up on my 1988 iroc-z. while i am driving the speedometer jumps around. example: i driving 80 mph the speedometer jumps form 80 up to 90 back to 80 and to 70. i replaced the speedometer cable no sharp bends or binds. could it be the plastic speedometer gear in the trans or what? any advice is greatly appreciated.

What type of Induction do u have on your car? tpi / tb If u have any of these on your car then it might be Unit inside the dash maybe going bad of the electronic sending unit inside the trans.
