New problem
Thanks again who responded to me 'Stranded at school' thread. However when I replaced the starter I noticed a trail of oil coming down between the flywheel and the trans pan. Rear main right? How hard are these things to install? Im sure the main problem is getting the trans off. The leak is pretty small right now, but it will only get worse.

be best to find out for sure where it's coming from instead of guessing. could be several other things leaking, oil sender, intake, valve cover, front pump seal.

You'd have to drop the tranny.
At least you have the 1piece, if it were the 2 piece you'd have to drop the tranny, pull the motor, oil pan, and rear bearing cap.
