Gas spitting out of vacuum port on Mallory Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

I FINALLY get my car's electrical crap worked out, she fires up and runs great... then I notice... little spits of gas spitting out of the vacuum port on my Mallory AFPR. Well, isn't that just the greatest thing I've ever seen - especially since it's above my headers. Wonderful. Can I fix this if I take it apart or do I have to get another one? Can I JB Weld/solder the port closed?

Steve
