car sputters

i have a 87 camaro 2.8 v6 when i get on the gas to speed up it sputters a lil and keeps going till i come to a stop and then it is fine i put 93 octane gas in it and then i just yesterday put 89 because of rising gas prices. I am guessing it is the fufel mixture at least i hope that is what it is. what else could be the colprut of this problem. I also just a couple months back put flowmasters on it.

TIA

You can mix 87 89 and 93 and You will never know the differance. Your problem is not gas. It could be a variety of tings wrong. Any engine lights? Could be a faulty maf, TPS sensor, or even a miss from a bad plug or wire. Cap or rotor?

Car: 1987 IROC-Z Camaro
Engine: 5.7 350 TPI - SLP Runners, AFPR, MSD Goodies
Transmission: 700R4 - Shift Kit, Corvette Servo
Axle/Gears: BW 9 bolt, 3.27s
Heres a list of common culprits:

Fuel Filter
MAF Power and Burnoff Relay
Cap/Rotor
EGR Valve

More Serious:
Fuel Pump
Vaccum leak
Injectors, although uncommon, our cars are getting old and they foul out.

Hopes this helps
