Probably seeing the end of summer progress on engine swaps from guys who rebuilt engines on the side, then pull the ones in the car to lessen downtime.
Those guys aren't like me...well, least in the sense they sell off the old stuff.
I'm a packrat, and have more blocks and tranny's I'll ever use in my kids lifetime.....
Wife doesn't mind as long as it's all out of sight....gonna have to build another shop this winter to work in

I'm doing a ls6/4l60e swap in january, but i'm going to redo the bottom end on my lo3 from the rs so it'll take a blower and a bit of bottle then swap that into my bravada (s10 swap), then sell my 4.3L
i wouldnt call it "building up". just refreshing the top end and changing all seals/gaskets in a L98 i have on a stand. i'll keep it as "backup" in case somethin happens to my current 350 in my Formula. gonna be just ur basic stock 350 TPI. made to get me from point A to point B.

I recently got my AFR's, got the HSR, and as soon as i sell two other prodjects of mine, I'll be getting the Procharger and DFI stuff. Splaying L98 block, making it a 383, and putting in all forged parts.

When I used to live in Apts. and had no storage, about all the room I could find was to swap and engine or tranny of needed.
Now what do I do with the old one? Sell it or give it away.
Could be what you're seeing is guys selling off thier tired 350's after swapping in something newer/fresher because they have no room for storage.
There's also the very selct few of hotrodders that don't like to keep extra parts, even if they have the room.
Only for sure way to find out is to email the sellers and ask why they are selling them.
BTW, headers are supposed to be here on Tuesday. Another BTW, I have headers that fit some trucks and cars I will never buy/have/own again...but would never consider selling them...I'm glad you did
Could be that someone could post "Why are people selling off F-body headers"? Money, room, etc.... Thread
