which head gaskets?

I recently bought a fel-pro gasket set, and the head gaskets that came with it fit the motor, but the cylinder holes are smaller than the bores. Which head gaskets should I buy, since I can't return this set. I wish I didn't throw out the old gaskets. I have a somewhat mild 350, with world heads. I got the gasket set at a discount price so it's not that bad. thanks

That's normal for small block gaskets to be larger than the bore. It's so they will also fit bored over 400 blocks as well.
It's kind of a one size fits all thing. Nothing wrong with it.

Those are the ones I use too. The bore on the gasket is normally bigger than the bore on the block for a 350 and much so for a 305.

the gasket bores were smaller, which I didn't understand, it was supposed to be for a 350, thanks. I asked my machinist and he told me the same thing.

I've never seen the gaskets be smaller than the bore. Maybe you got 305 gaskets? If so, then no you shouldn't use them.
