Altering Serpentine Setup

Alright I'm going to remove the entire passenger bracket, put sliders on the alternator, change the water pump, and get a shorter belt.

What vehicles came with a long nose standard rotation water pump?

Where can I get a pulley for that water pump with serpentine grooves?

I've been told a slider from a smog pump on a third gen works well, that's what I'm going to try and use. Does the water pump get enough tension from the belt this way? I the length of belt I will need depends on the sliders, but roughly what length will I need?

I had planned on keeping the alternator on the drivers side, however it could be done like that.

did you just cut the power steering bracket in half?because it`s looks like at least half is still stock.

I measured the belt length to be exactly 50" or 127cm with a measuring tape. What would it be bad if I got the exact size or a 49.5" belt and put it on without making the alternator adjustable? If I got the correct amount of tension would that be a problem? I know that belts stretch over time, but how much? Are belts sized small to account for stretch?
