Multi-question post. Tire, seats, fenders and speedometers.

I wasn't sure where to put this as it contains interior, body, electronic and tire questions. I searched on most of these and couldn't find exact answers to my specific questions. If there's some post I missed covering one or more, you're welcome to smack me

The first is this. I was at the junkyard today and saw what appeared to be either a highly optioned Trans Am or a GTA. I couldn't tell as it was missing nearly everything identifiable. Missing bumpers, fenders, rpo sticker, etc. It was bright yellow, stock color or not, I dunno. Grey interior. It was at least 1990 or older. Anyway...

It has a 140mph speedo. I didn't check the tach. I know in 91-92 they used a different setup to send information to the speedo. Would this speedo be a bolt in in a 91 Trans Am and read correctly, or is it not worth my time and I should look for a 91-92 speedo. If it has a better tach(I read a post stating something about an 8k tach, unless it was aftermarket) would that be bolt in as well?

----

Next, if the above is good news for me... The front clear cover was cracked. Is that replaceable? I've never had one off so I'm a good bit in the dark about these things.

----

Now onto the seats. It has power seats. The seats look like garbage and are grey. I know next to notihng about power seats, however, in searching I've at least found that they would be a direct bolt in, with the possibility of the power cable being in my car already. If not, i'd just have swiped that one or gotten a new one. Anyway...

Since the seats themselves are garbage, is the rail and controls, etc, removable from the seat and able to be bolted onto my existing non power seats?

----

Next up... My original spare was an inflateable, 195/75/15. It's time has passed. I got a VERY temporary mini spare which is now getting tossed in storage, but. The replacement I just got is a 195/75/14, inflateable. It looked near the same as my original and I neglected to check the size before I got it out of the junk car. Will this tire be ok? Better than the mini already blown up junk tire I already had? Ok with positraction since it's not that little junk tire?

----

Finally, one last question... I know that the fenders have had changes over the years. I need a new passenger fender. Which years are direct, exact replacements for a 91 TA fender? Also, would that include ALL model fenders? Meaning... Can I use a fender from any base/formula/TA/GTA model of that year without modifications such as adding bolt holes, removing or modifying brackets, etc?

the guages i dont know

the seats i think the tracks are able to be put on none power seats

i spare tire should never be put on the rear unless it is the same size as the other tire. ok to get home with an open rear and a smaller tire but on posi you will kill you clutches. what is wronge with your stock one. you can get new tires for it (almost positive).

i think you need a fender off of a 91 92. the 85 - 90 are different.

this is all there in the board but sometimes it is hard to get what you want out of the search function. hope this helps.

Yeah, I found a lot of info, but the majority was like, say.. Swapping 4th gen seats in, ability to use the 3rd gen rail on a 4th gen, wiring questions, but nothing specifically about putting the rail and controls on a nonpowered seat. But... I am sure it is there somewhere, buried. But prolly under a completely nonrelated topic. Like... Look at my new radio! and then it goes into power seats, lol.

I figured as much on the fenders.

As for the stock spare, well, it's worn out, badly, and I mean "Man, that wouldn't be safe on Barbie's plastic Vette" unsafe. If you can get replacements, any idea where? Noone seems to have a clue that I've asked. Tire shops, dealers, etc. and do you mean the tire itself or tire and rim? The rim is fine, but definately needs a new inflateable tire. I'd LOVE to find a place that has or can get and install a new inflateable on my existing rim.
