Wire order on the cap for a 3.1 or 2.8 v-6

I know a guy who bought a car without the plug wires on it. I need to know what the order is around the cap for this 1990 v6 rs. Thanks

Welp, the firing order is 123456 but that's not your biggest problem. With the wires off, you need to know which terminal is #1 so you can put the wires back where they belong.

Right, not firing order, the order of the wires on the cap. The wire at about the 6:30 position goes to what? 8:00 to what? and so on....

What Dan told you was correct, firing order = "order of wires on the cap". The wires go on the cap "1 2 3 4 5 6", in a clockwise direction. BUT: You need to find which terminal is #1! After you find #1, you can plug in the rest.

You need to find out which terminal is #1. That can be different on every car! I have a message on how to determine which cap terminal is #1 here: https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/000866.html You might also want to read this: https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/001122.html

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.
