for the most part just the frame mounts, and all the assorys off the big block (small block stuff wont swap over) also makesure the rest of the car it built to handly the big blocks extream torque

A mild big block would work with a 'good' 700r4. With alot of torque a 4L80 or th400. A completely different rear end and good subframe connectors.

------------------
350 with stealth intake, holley carb, 470 lift cam. 700r4 with .5 boost valve, vette servo, tci lock-up kit, B&M megashifter. Richmond 3.73 gears, powertrax locker, timkin bearings, synthetic lube. Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

A friend of mine has stuck a 427 BB in his 84 camaro. Couple of the bigger problems he had...The heater box had to be reshaped. It hit the valve cover on the wider big block...Also exhaust was tricky. Theres not a lot of room for a healthy dual exhuast like the 427 likes... And I dont think he has the hood on yet.

All the info for the swap is on my page. So far, it's gone 7.76 @ 94 through the single 3 inch exhaust and 87 octane gas.

Currently installing 3.73's into my 9 bolt (YES, it is a 9 bolt & YES they are 3.73's, not 3.70. I currently have 4.10 gear sets and new series 3 posi carriers for sale for 9 bolts )
