416's or 601's...which are better?

416's or 601's...which are better?

Which head flows better? Does anyone know difference of runner volumes between the two?

Don;t worry about which one is better or flows better.

They are both junk relativly speaking when ya start.
its what you do to them to improve them that counts.

If you're willing to put the time and effort into it, you can make a much better head out of either.

If you've got a set of 416's hanging around use em.
if you've got 601's use them.

I prefer the 416's my self. less chamber shrouding a little more port bias (swirl) to start with.

The idea is to turn a $2 head into something that rocks
for a few $$$ and have fun with it.
