plug wire help, quick!!

Hey, I want to get my car running again as quickly as possible so I don't have to drive this Astro van. I have a 91 formula WS6 with a 305 tpi. The motor is stock right now, but I plan to mod it next time I have enough money. I have headers already.

What wires should I get? There are wires like the Taylor 8mm HEI wire for $22.69. Then there are middle price wires like Moroso Blue Max 8mm for $42.99. Then there are lots of wires that cost more.

I don't want to spend more than I have to, but I would rather pay more and get a quality product than buy something that sucks just because it's cheap. I don't really plan on racing, but as I said, I am going to add some power to my engine and I need my car to be very reliable.

What wires should I get?

Thanks

There have been several questions about wires here lately. Doesn't seem to be any overwhelming agreement about brand or what type of boot end. (straight or 90%). I bought 8mm Accel w/straight boots, universal fit because I didin't use the factory routing. I'm sure most of thr good aftermarket brands are fine like accel, moroso etc. Some people like the bigger 8.5mm but hey wouldn't fit the looms I wanted so I got the 8mm. Good luck.

With headers you can't use straight boot, get 90*, MSD Superconductor 8.5mm seem to be the best, but I have used the Moroso and was satisfied with them. Word of advice buy wire looms and you won't burn 3 wires like I have.

You know, the stock GM 8mm wires are very good, though I don't know if they are priced right. Knowing GM, probably not.

Yeah you can use straight boots on a few plugs but all straight won't clear the headers all the way around. I also bought some heat protective sleeving, and wire separators, I don't want to take any chances after buying so many sets of wires.
