rear main seal

My car is an 84 z28 5.0 HO, but I believe the motor was changed at one point with an 86 block. How do I know if I have a one or two piece rear seal? Im leaking a little bit of oil.

i dont remember if they started using one piece RMS in 86 or 88. pretty sure it was 86. either way, the one piece is seal is gonna be significantly bigger that a 2-pc, and its gonna stick out from the block a little more. i'll see if i can get a pic of mine to post for you.

Where are the casting numbers located? The size is stamped behind the drivers side head correct? like 5.0 L, and up front on the pass head theres supposed to be a number correct? Where are the numbers I should be looking for, and how do i decode them?
