torque on head bolts?

I am running edelbrock heads I am currently re-installing them on the short block. I put permatex thread sealer on the head bolts (arp) and I torqued them to 75fpt and I was wondering if I should go more, lower, or leave them the same?

Factory is 65, most aluminum heads tend to be 70. I would not go any higher than 70.

i do what ARP said to do for the bolts that you bought. all the ARP stuff i ever used came with instructions and specs to follow for best results.

ede the problem is that the headbolts I purchaced did not come with the thread sealent so I had to use permatex thread sealent. The arp instructions said to torque to 65 pounds with their bolt lube or their brand sealent. It said that if you use 30w oil to go to 85fpt so I went in the middle is this ok.

since you have them torqued i'd leave them as they are. the thread swaler you used would of been or should of been the same as arp sealer.
