smog "test only" in la?

I need to get smogged so I can get registered. I have to go to a test only center to have it done. Any one know anyone?

Most Arco gas stations are test only.

I dont know if you have a "greenslip" in your area, but they are test only also.

I need to be more specific, I built an LG4 based 350, out of a '77 block. I don't have all of the vaccum hoses hooked up the way that it came from the factory. I have headers that don't have an EFE, but they have a CARB number,(Edelbrock). With the laws being as **** as they are, I need some help. I'm sure it would pass the sniffer with out a problem.

Unfortunatly you live in an "enhanced" area and all the stuff needs to be there and in working order.

It doesnt matter if you do pass the sniffer, without all three portions of the test passing, visual, functional, and tailpipe, the car is a fail.

Unless you find someone that will just say screw it and pass it.....

Dont know about there, its a pretty healthy fine if they get caught, For both the employer and the tech.

Does it look like everything that is needed is in place? I don't know about where you live, but here in So Cal the techs at test only stations generally don't have a clue.
Think of how many different cars with different fuel and smog systems are built each year? Then think of how many change every year? How many smog techs are even going to know what is supposed to be on a car that is almost 20 years old? The worst thing that will happen is they might notice something missing and tell you to have it installed.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for. I live below Pasadena, and I just don't want to find the one guy that would check everything out. I don't think that they would, unless they get paid by the hour. I can't come across the right vaccum diagram for this thing. So many different things keep me searching. I haven't tried a Chilton manual yet, but I got one from All Data, and another from Mitchell on demand, and another one from someone here, and another one from a smog check station. The problem is that each one has something different. The old PCV valve had a T fitting, and at Pep Boys, Kragen, and Autozone, all of the catologs all say to use the one with the T fitting. Well, the diagrams all say it's L fitting. Then a Y connector splits off onto something. Simple fix right? just put one vaccum hose to one side of the PVC, and the other to the other. I can't do that. The two fittings on the PVC are different size. Just some of the problems that I am having.
