He's either ignorant or a liar. VIN F says it's a 305. Although it does appear to have aftermarket runners.

Probably worth $1200.

My guess is that it's a salvage car that's been retitled

I Actually called this guy he told me that the car is really a formula with a 350, when i asked him about the body looking like a transam/firebird he kinda stumbled and told me "umm well there is a diiferent vin number under the hood soo maybe thats it" he didnt really seem to know much about the car considering how proud he seems to be of it "Trophy Car"

I like how he says "its been in many shows." I hope he didn't pop the hood, or else I'd highly doubt he won in his class. I was lied to in person when i bought my car (guy said it was a 350, but a quick look at the block said otherwise). That definitly showed me the lack of moral so many people have to just try and make more money. Not that I have done before, but now i wouldn't think twice about ever buying a car off ebay. I hope whoever bids on that car knows what they are getting into.

Buying anything unseen it trouble. Even when buying in person there is something we all overlook and find out about later.

Engine's a bit too dirty for a show car. Based upon that fact which does not seem to track the real history of the car, I'd say it's a dangerous buy.

only way I'd buy a car like that would be if I wanted the body, and 1300 for a body seems awfully high.

Didn't the 87's have the wrap around spoiler and homeycomb tail lights. Looks like a firebird in T/A clothing.

I saw this on eBay a few days ago.

I hope he replaced the engine when he had it rebuilt because that car originally came with a 305.

there is no way thats a show car!!

that motor looks like it has all of those 182,000 miles on it,not a fresh rebuild with 1000 miles.

the paint looks ok but its nothing special.

the interior looks about as bad as mine, and mine is horrible.

its a crappy deal for a very used car.

check this out fellas i sent him a message for some info, more like harrasment haha peep it. thats his responsew what a dumbass

i didn't sayit has a 5.7 engine. i did in an old listing but corrected it. i guess it is a 5.0 a mechanic had told me 5.7 but hey i don't know. as for the appearance with the firebird and al. the car came up on the DMV as 87 firebird formula. as far as i know its a trans am formula 350 TPI. i know its a formula the picture of the engine shows it to you. the appearane package was all on when i boguht it. if you don't tihnk its a formula maybe you can teach me sometihng what is it.
