Braided line & fittings

I bought some SS braided line and some fittings to redo my fuel line. I was wondering how I attach the fittings to the braided line? No instructions were included and I dont want to mess anything up since this is my first time working with braided line and its a little pricey

Don't you just push the blue part on the hose then screw the red part down (for the straight fittings)?

The hose goes into the red part but I think you are right about having to screw it down. I think I get how to do it now, loosen the red piece all the way, put the line in and then tighten it down. Just want to make sure. Here are the fittings if it makes a difference.

90 degree

straight

The hose does go into the red end. The blue end attaches to one of these of the proper size:

The flared end would attach to the AN fitting, the straight side of the above fitting, which is NPT, would go into the caliper.

For the hardline to braided you need something like this:

The AN fitting, again, going on the flared side, the hardline (with the proper flare) goes on the other end with a tube nut.

Check the mark that you made on the hose in Step 2. If the hose has backed
more than about 1/16" out of the socket as you assembled it, curse and return
to Step 3.

lol, even holley has a sense of humor sometimes.
