cam questions

i have an 86 trans am 305 tpi, does anyone know the stock cam numbers? and would either of these two cams fit with out altering anything...Cam Kit

Grind: 268
Lift: .477''/.480''
RPM Range: 1600-5800 compcams xtreme energy

Cam Kit
Grind: 268H
Lift: .485''
RPM Range: 1500-5500 compcams high energy

Both of those cams are too much for a 305 TPI. Either one would probably slow the car down from where it is now, especially if the exhaust is still stock.

Look at the 12-402-4 on that page, that is more nearly what you need.
