a couple of easy ? please read

can i replace the pcv valve w/ a breather
and iv'e heard of bypassing the egr what do
they do for performance
and how do you bypass the egr valve

Don't you have to have a PCV for the car to run right. I have that and one breather.
What I did for the EGR was just cut out a block off plate.

a guy told me i could put a breather in for the pcv if i blocked off the hole on the intake just wondering if this is true

As for the EGR, you could bypass it with a blockoff plate, but it's gonna **** off your computer if you don't have it shut off in the PROM.

you can just run a breather, but there will be no diffrence in power, only make your gas milage a little crappyer.

If your concerned about the appearance of the exposed pcv valve, I found one with what looks like a chrome breather cover over the pcv valve. looks like a second breather cap, and the pcv works fine.

you could always buy a pcv breather from billet specialties, best of both worlds
