Cam??????

Hey guys- I want to order a new cam tomorrow, I hear that it'll give a good amount of performace boost. The problem is- I don't know anything about them. Could you guys help me choose a new cam and possibly guide my in the right direction for new valve train components too? I don't have enough cash for new heads at the moment but I'm going to get them pocket ported. I have an '83 Berlinetta LG4 with a 4-barrel. So far I have headers, 3 inch cat-back, K&N filter and a Hypertech chip. Please point me in the right direction. Thanks alot!

Get a Comp XE256H or XE262H. Get the whole kit, with the springs, timing chain, etc. Their 1.5 roller-tip rockers (part # 1412) will help too.

Thanks, but just so you know, I drive this car every day, so it has to be pretty good at idle, I've seen things saying "off-idle-6000" or something like that- what does it mean? I would prefer a very smooth idle and just a little more kick from the cam. Also, how much power do you think I'm pulling with now? I'm thinking around 200? Thanks!
