Car wobbles when making sharp turns

when making a slow sharp turn my front end wobbles and you can hear the tires slipping as I make the turn. I use to have a friend with the same car 91' Camaro who said it is common. Anyone else experience this?

On a slippery surface this may happen (like a seal-coated driveway, or wet pavement) but on rough clean pavement (like in most parking lots) you shouldn't expereince this.

Worn out front end parts - tie rods, centerlink, idler arm, etc. are the usual cause.

I have all new front end components excepet tie rods but they are good. It happens when I turn the wheel all the way to one side till it hits the stops. But you have to take the turn real slow to notice it. Could it maybe be something with the steering box?

No. Just stop turning like that! You don't need to, you know. And it is not easy on the power steering to pull the wheel sharply to the end of its travel and hold it there.

What happens is that every little bit of rock and dirt under the tire is being forced sideways and the tires simply slips over it in stages, causing the jump, jump you are experiencing.
