If you're getting the flowmaster cat-back why are you getting a muffler too, it comes with one. I would recommend the Hooker cat-back, flows better and sounds better in my opinion. There are soundclips of it on the exhaust board. Plus it is cheaper, I got the $200 one and had it welded on. For a 305 the Edelbrock TES headers should be fine $313, SLPs are the best but cost a bit more.

Well, then you don't want a dual exit flowmaster, their single exit flow better and sound better, I don't like the looks of one tail pipe.

I hate to be the one to say it, but the stroker kit is a waste of money. The machine work and kit would cost more than a 350 block and rebuild kit. But if you want to be different, I understand. If you wanted your engine to perform well you will NEED to change those heads. You'd be better off leaving the bottom end stock and tossing a set of heads on. World torquer 305's are nice. So are L98 aluminum vette heads. You may want to look into vortec's also. I'm not sure which intake you'd use with the vortec's, but the heads are pretty cheap. They may need some machine work to keep your compression, I'm not sure what this would cost. The LT1 cam works very well for 305's from what I hear. I'll agree and say that the Hooker system is better than the flowmaster. I like mine a lot. Could be an interesting car if you did all that. I've never seen a 334 at the track, or talked to anyone who put one together so I'm not sure what kind of performance you'd get out of it. Have you thought about gears? A set of 3.42's would be nice.

Just some thoughts

like I said (i htink), this is if I could get the money together. I did some figuring, and I came up with about 320 fwhp for that setup, could easily be very off though =]...anyway, I do plan on doing a few things like exhaust and cam, but not sure what else... thanks all for the input!
